was at a stand still for a bit as i was trying to finish a baby quilt that should have been finished in august. then my younggest daughter and my granddaughters are home from Germany for the holidays (son-in-law is in the air force and that is where they are stationed) so have been spending time with them. DH is doing well (just have to keep an eye on him) so i should be back at it very soon. will post pics as soon as i have a few more blocks done.
i have decided not to follow the schedule since i am so far behind. if i try to follow it i will only get discouraged. i am going to pick blocks at random and just plug away to get them done.

Well if you want a starting point again I can vouch that weeks 49 and 50 are real easy. Yes this is the time when all the family gets together and thats lovely to have your Son home from Germany. Glad to hear your DH is ok to.

yes it is the first time that i have seen my youngest daughter and oldest grandaughter since about march of 2009. it was the very first time that i got to see my youngest grandaughter as she was born in Germany. my daughter talked like they would be back this way sometime this summer.

luv,glad u get to visit with the children. I am so far behind but will catch up one of these days.I am setting 2 Christmas themed log cabins together for a lady,they wont be ready for the Holiday but soon after. My son doing well,finished his chemo as scheduled,so now we wait to see what next. Prayers needed. Jo
