I try to match my fabric to which Brenda and Jane selected. Thank you for your kind words concerning Mom. Mother's Day was a tough one.

You're so very welcome. I lost my mother in 2006,when I was 40 yrs old. It has been so tough! I have mommy envy when I see friends' mothers. Take care Karen

kmeyer I have done a couple of these block already. Yours look lovely. The one with the 4 hearts. I was all set to start it. I even had the first 2 hearts back basted to applique and then I saw someone else's and I wanted to do what she did. She fussy cut so that there was a flower in the center of each heart. I don't have any fabric like that so I have to look in my stash for some. It was really pretty.

Thank you for your kind words. My condolences to your family as well. I was very fortunate of mom's longevity of 92 years but she was very active up until she passed.

Karen that is all we can ask for our parents. My father(89) was only sick the last month. My father in law(90) passed in his sleep. MY mother in law(87) is frail but doing okay so far. My mother is 83 and still getting along okay most days.
