At the risk of sounding stupid...
I keep seeing Dear Jane posts/swaps. What exactly is a Dear Jane and where do the "A5, B6... etc" come in? I am guessing they are templates?

Each block in Jane's quilt is different. So it has been broke down into a grid....The letter/number refers to it's placement on the quilt.

The link Loretta put up is a interesting/fascinating read :D:D:D

I had never heard of the Dear Jane quilt, either, until I joined this forum. Now I have the book plus I have bookmarked a bunch of helpful sites to help me whenever I'm ready to begin my own DJ quilt.

Here is a great blog on the Dear Jane quilt. She has pictures and tutorials of all the blocks that she has made so far: http://thatquilt.blogspot.com/
