Ok I finally picked up a cheap camera so I can post my clue #4. I really like how they are looking. Everyone is going to end up with a georgous quilt.

Glad you are feeling better Judy, keep up the good work.

The more pictures I see of everyone's combinations the more anxious I am to see the finished projects. These are going to all be gorgeous!

GET A DEPOSIT!!! especially from friends and family! I have been hanging onto a quilt for a YEAR that I told my daughters friend I would do, put $100 of my own hard earned money into buy some cute fabric for the job!

The real corker is when I got paid, the whole amount by then! The crazy fool had the audacity to call me 5 days later and ask how it was coming along! I have not even started working on it again! Was getting ready for my run when I finally got paid! My thinking is she can wait for a bit on me! (I am making her a quilt out of all of her favorite clothing of her 3 children. I had it almost half way finished when my Hubby (God love him) pulled the plug) and it is a fun project but a lot of work!

Rule of thumb 50% down, have contract ahead of time, and YES have them sign contract! Even if you know them, or should I say especially if you know them.

Honestly for me the very hardest part of sewing for a living is being firm on the money! We love to quilt, but we don't give it away unless it is our Idea... Sorry to jump back on board with my opinion so strong! But when one has been burned, one will be cautious around the fire... if you have any questions just ask, I have lots of horror stories! But also lots of good ones too! Most of my business is making memory quilts out of someones items, and it is super fulfilling to be part of creating such a priceless item.

Hi everyone did you miss me hehehehe... Where is the Soup, today is a soup and sandwich kinda day! I just finished my step two and three, and I am looking for clue # 4...

WHAT! And you never told me!!!! I lovelovelovelove Alexander Henry fabric! I usually buy remenants because it is so expensive when I am lucky enough to find it! SOOOOOO I was thinking...... maybe it is time for me to take a side trip off this mountain and come meet you, then we could go for a little walk around the corner!!!!! You know we are paractically neighbors anyway! I thought about stopping by for coffee the other day, but welll I figure you should at least meet me before I do that!

Don't be shy! I can be the unshy one when it comes to great fabric! I love his pinup girls for my aprons, they are so cute!

OK I found clue 5 or 4... Yep 4 and now am making my 9p blocks... I will be gone again this weekend... Dang dang dang...Hubby has a painting job to finish and darn if the Wonderful rain decided to show up! We were really blessed to get this job in and mostly done before the rain came, so it is a day by day wait to see when the weather will be good enough to get final touches done!

I read as much as fast as I could... Judy Hope you are healing nicely, I love the pictures! love those bright colors. I can't believe it is only 7:30 it looks and feels like about midnight!

I charged my camera so I will be posting my pictures as soon as I get my 9p's made!
