So far everyone's mystery quilt tops look great. It's fun to see how different each turns out.
Will post my mystery quilt top this weekend. I made some changes to the pattern as I didn't like the way my fabrics looked together after most of the top was done. So, I'm finishing up my changes to the pattern. Needless to say, my finished top won't look quite like the mystery quilt.

I don't know about y'all but my "big blocks" were so wonky I had to cut them down...which meant I had to cut down several other blocks so it would all work out.
The top is finished so we tossed it on the bed just to get an idea of the final size (please ignore the humps and lumps from the foot board and other comforter under it ).
My 81 yr old Dad did all the ironing for me the past couple days as I did the strips. He is recovering from a stroke in early May and is staying with us so I try to get him involved....ironing seemed like a good idea (and got me out of it ).

Moonwork42029, I love your quilt. Mine turned out very bla looking, but your's makes me want to piece another one totally different from my first one. I think my fabrics read as being too much solid where it would look sooooo much better with prints. I think I will need to quilt mine with contrasting thread to give it some ump. Thank you very much for showing your quilt.
