i agree, collector, it looks lovely! i've started another mystery quilt, but will get back to this one soon. this one is for my husband and today is his birthday so it will be a very belated birthday gift. sadly, he's used to that.

First Mystery Quilt
So, I started quilting in the fall of 2010. I had never done a Mystery Quilt before. (I now have started several.) I jumped in with both feet and made the Queen size version. I truly enjoyed doing this. I also went outside of my normal comfortable colors with this one. I am proud of the way it turned out. This is the first quilt of this size I have done. It still needs backing, quilting and binding. Not sure when I will get to that. Before I did this I did not understand why people had quilt tops that were not all the way finished. HaHa, now I do. Thanks for looking and letting me share this with you all. Colors are not quite the same in the picture as they are in person. On to finish the next mystery!!

HAVPLENTY--I'm also doing the Mystery Quilt Train started by paintmejudy. It is almost finished. And then doing the block of the month on quiltstory.blogspot and the monthly block on craftsy. These ard very addictive. Thanks for lookibg at my quilt, I think one thing I like is that it has masculine and feminine fabrics together. Anyone have any ideas for me as far as quilting designs?
