    From C background, cut eight 2-½” x 4-½” pieces AND cut 20 pieces, 2-½ x2-½” square.

Sew a 2-½” x 4-½” piece of background C to the 2-patch, copying placement of fabrics. You will have 4 blocks as shown.
We use four 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" background C to make these 4 patches. Are we saving the other four we cut for a future use?

Here are mine. At first when I got them done I thought they were going to make a star. I tried every which way. No star. Guess I will have to wait for the next clue. Thanks Judy.

When I look at them, they remind me of a cat if we could just give them eyes, a nose and mouth.

Sunlite and Florence, your blocks are beautiful -- love the colors in both of them.

No, no star being made today! Glad it is still a mystery!
