Nice choices everyone. Podunk, I'm a blue and brown fan so yours are really pretty. I think I'm in a slump. I don't have much of a stash and I've been to three quilt stores. Nothing is popping out at me. Yikes! What is going on? The only thing that appealed to me was a collection of grays, tone on tone and light to dark. Wouldn't that be exciting....I jokes. Hmmm...Maybe the grays and use red for C. Sorry...just thinking aloud.

Mona, love your colors. similar to mine. I realized after i picked my colors, it will go nicely in my dining room. red and white, but the quilt has black too.
Can't wait to start this ride. Told my dh and he cracked up. thought we were all nuts. He's playing football on XBOX! talk about nuts.
Anyway, I'm glad I was able to catch this wild ride. looking forward to lots of fun and meeting new people. Hopefully if Dotty isn't busy on monday, she can post my swatches for me. no camera. Of course I could buy one, but then i couldn't buy fabric.

reeskylr, glad you found us. Welcome back.
Hey, Sulabug, good to see you again.
lookin' good, dede - if by rearrange you mean change position, if they are left to right, A to E, you are in good shape.
nice, Mona. A suggestion - switch those wonderful large stars with the tiny black stars. And switch the 2 reds.
AngelAnne, love your fabrics
Very nice, podunk.

So, with that we are off to breakfast again. Can you tell my daughter and I like breakfast? Her hubby isn't a fan, he'd rather do dinner. Works for us, gives us some alone time together.

I'm driving home tomorrow, don't know if I will be able to check in with you before I leave. Will try to find the time but things are a bit hectic on Monday mornings around here. If not, see you Tuesday morning. Have a great day, everyone.

I am thinking about joining this ride. I did #3 and loved it. I am kinda between projects. I need something easier right now. I am hoping to start on a bargello that is kinda difficult. So this would be a good break. Gotta go shop my stash.

Ok, I SUCK at this Math thing and agree with Mary O. Can someone give me the 1/4 or 1/2 or 1 yard information of the inches? Sorry to be a PITA.

Judy, after Dotty posts my fabs, can you tell me if they are appropriate?
I want my first trainride to be a good one without any bumps or crazy turns.

Everyone is posting such pretty fabrics! Now it is my turn to go stash shopping. Although I tend not to have bigger peices in my stash so I might have to go real shopping..... Fun either way!!! Thanks for the great ideas ladies.
Will post mine soon.

Smile

36 inches = 1 yard
27 inches = 3/4 yard
18 inches = 1/2 yard
9 inches = 1/4 yard
so
12 inches =1/3 yard
24 inches =2/3 yard

giggle
