sunlit smiles, love the chocolate you left.
Belfry bat, he's going to love that quilt, I do already.
Anoka, LOVE your crystal. She's so pretty, and what a beautiful face!
Klaws, that red is perfect, i don't think it's to dark.
Love all the new postings of the blocks and the colors. Everyone is doing such a great job, I feel my geese don't quite icute it compared to everyone else's. But as you all know the saying, it will quilt out.
Thanks everyone for the well wishes. I'm still in pain, but the chocolate is helping. Had KFC for dinner, and brought enough for everyone else to have some.

I have an 8-1/2'' square ruler. if you dont have one, make one from clear template plastic. make it 8-1/2'' square. Mark a diagonal line from corner to corner so there is an X in th middle. Center the template over your well-pressed block, centering on the center dot, draw a pencil line around the block, then cut with a ruler and rotary cutter. Youy need something clear so you get the same distance from your point of the star to the edge of your template. And don't use the template to cut out your stars, you'll end up slicing bits and piees of the plastic and it soon won't be square.

Thanks, Lynnie, but sorry, I don't know the name of my avatar quilt. I saw a picture of it and made it from that. Was a pain, because I had to go block by block to see what colors went where, but think it was worth the trouble. Figured it was from a jelly roll, because there were lots of strips in so many different colors. Just used 2-1/2'' strips and figured it out from there.
Wouldn't be a mystery if I used this, would it?
How are you feeling?
