Wow! Everyone's tops look great! I have done mine in two different ways. The first one is the originally planned and then the next one is with the blocks side by side but gives the look of it being on point. I made them smaller than originally planned and still have to do the borders but am happy with them so far. I was thinking of trying a ribbon border on one if not both of them.

I have to say I love how your alternate layout pops a completely different secondary pattern. Both are great, but number 2 has me going WOW, I want to do this one!

I finally finished the blocks for "The Quilt that Never Ends"!! Woo hoo.

I selected my backing fabric too: Caterwauling Tales...pretty descriptive of what I was doing while piecing this thing. :)

Fraew, awesome! Keep going girl, you are almost there. Love the backing fabric.

Crazy? Yes, you got it! Sigh...

I have a love, hate thing going with "The Quilt that Never Ends". I love the pattern, can tolerate the colors, but can't see the grey!!! I just can't see it...in this awesome pattern.

So, sigh...off I go on the insane path to replace the grey. I started this post acknowledging that I am crazy after all.

I laid a few black squares on top of the grey to compare and I like it so very much more. Sigh...

Farew, OMG! I can't believe you are going to replace all of these squares! I personally love your original grey but I understand that we must like what we were working on to work on it lol.

And I am soo happy to report that after much thinking, drawing and changing my mind I came up with a border design that I am satisfied with and just finished attaching it to the quilt..so it is hot off the sewing machine lol. This is so far one of my favorite quilts I made, the colors are soo me! Thanks to Bonnie for offering this great mystery and thanks to you all for encouraging:) Hopefully I can find the time to start quilting it soon. It finished at about 68x80, so sorry for the odd angel in the picture:)
