1 Attachment(s)
Here is the December Star BOM. It is called the 9-Patch Star. This is a little early, but I did not want it to be late with the holidays. Enjoy!!
Go to this web site (Carol Doak) Free Quilt Patterns. http://www.caroldoak.com/free-quilt-patterns.php Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the “Tool Caddy for Your Paper Piecing Tools”. I used the star pattern from this. Click to download the pdf and it will take you to the pattern. The paper template is there. Star fabric: 1/4 yd. Background - Cut the following pieces: Black: 4 - 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" corner squares 8 - 2 1/2" x 4" Location numbers 2, 3 1/8 yd. Small star points – Cut the following pieces: Yellow: 4 - 3 1/4" x 3 1/4", cut once diagonally for Location numbers 4, 5 1/8 yd. Center star point – Cut the following pieces: Pink: 4 - 2 3/4" x 4 3/4" Location number 1 Center square: Blue: 1 - 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" The paper piecing pattern is on the bottom of the page. You can always make the apron if you want! Blessings! Carole |

That is a beautiful block. Love the Christmas fabric.

I'm in, guess I'll be doing lots of PP in the coming year - also joined PokerDiva's PP group from Carol's 50 stars book. We're going to be 'smoking' in 2012 with our machines.

Your block is very pretty...thank you. I just printed the pattern and will be working on it very soon.

Great star, thank you. I love Carol Doak patterns. I am so far behind, but will definately make this star, probably in January.
