Here is the picture of my house. I accidentally cut my pieces backwards, so you will notice that my tree is on the opposite side from where is should be. Probably others have done this too. I did not want to re-cut my pieces so I went ahead and used them anyway. I have pictures that show how to do this if anyone made the same mistake and don't want to let their pieces go to waste.

place fabric right sides together. I have it upside down so turn it over.

fold paper pattern back on the fold and place on top of fabric and sew along the folded edge. Do this with all the pieces. I hope this makes sense.

Matilda - I like the tree idea, great house. Thanks for the block.

My Church block came out looking the other way. I always say to myself: "Wrong side of pattern to wrong side of fabric" then right sides of fabric together before I sew and that usually keeps things going in the right direction. Not sure what happened with my church. ;-)

Thanks for the pictures! I like your flowers/grass!

Looks good!

Well done!

I can't believe how quickly some of you get your blocks done. I'm afraid I must be a ditherer, takes me 24 hours just to think about it let alone the time for me to get fabrics that I'm in anyways happy enough with!

:D
