Wow thats nice!
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Here is my Sept. 54-40 block. I love this block and have done it is so many different colors they all look so different. This one is to add to my black/white/yellow/green quilt. I know the white and yellow don't pop like they should, but the block goes perfect with the rest of my blocks. And I decided to fussy cut the center, although I wish the flower would have been a bit smaller.

Kl, great block...your fussy cut center actually looks to be 3 -D.

This block was pretty easy but it still took me half a day. I had to rip and sew over and over to try and get the seams to line up. I even had to sew some seams 1/8" to make it happen.
It's really interesting to see what everyone is doing with their colour placements on the 4 patches. Just looked at the one on quilterscache and she uses the placement that I thought was more traditional. I see some of you have your 4 patches all going one way and others have switched them out. Still out camping so won't be making mine for awhile yet, looking forward to some more pictures, thanks for posting them.
finished September's block...came out a hair too small but it will work...(one of those ease it in LOL) also kind of light but I think I can make it work....love seeing all your blocks....di
