Have mine done and keep forgetting to post the pic. Not sure I like this color placement but won't be hard to make another if I need to. Now on hurry and wait for 3 weeks...long time for a new block...patience is golden, certainly not one of my greatest assets Name: DSCF1627.JPG

    Very pretty Jaba!

Your blocks are the way mine were supposed to be. I thought I would have an easy fix turning the block yesterday but now the whole section doesn't fit. The fabric is so worn from me ripping and sewing that I will have to make 1/3rd (at least) of the entire block over today. I may just start completely over.

Judy in PHX I just saw your block, I love the different effect, looks like tulips!

I managed to fix mine, I didn't even cut the blocks over, just ripped and sewed a few times until stuff matched up. lol.

Thanks all, I do love the colors that this quilt will be. I didn't have any trouble with this block but I did sew a "scant" 1/4" to start with and it came out perfect. I could hardly believe my luck right the 1st time. Have to admit, it was nice, no ripped seams for a change. If I could just make that happen every time, I can only wish.

I went back and looked and couldn't see what you did wrong

Have really enjoyed seeing everyone's blocks for this month. As we've been away camping I've finally made it home to my sewing room. I'm getting down to fewer & fewer fabrics in my b/w/g selection.... no problem.... what I have... I am using. Actually I'm quite happy with my block this month...some of the others have really been busy! Name: thimble sept 2013001_edited (Small).JPG

I'm not doing the BOM, but I do have a UFO called Tennessee Waltz (Eleanor Burns pattern) and I think it's the same block. My sister and I have a thing going in which we want to finish as many UFOs as possible before next year's quilt show. I really have to figure out how to post pics so I can show what I DO manage to get done!
When someone mentions quilting, I go to pieces!

That is the same block. You'll find this block in dozens of patterns. This pattern was from a Fons and Porter magazine that our quilt guild just made. The entire quilt is the 54 - 40 or fight, just two different colors schemes. My coloring isn't very good. It's much prettier than this shows. Eleanor Burns has about three different quilts that use this block. It happens to be my favorite block.

Wow everyone great September blocks and I also love all of the quilts that were shared which use the block. I have been busy making baby blankets and a quilted diaper bag for when my second grandson is born this November. I've been doing quite a bit of reverse quilting as I was having some difficulty with my backing bunching up. I was so excited by how wonderful the top stitching was going I didnt think to take peek underneath until it was too late. I was so tempted to just abandon the project and start over and then I thought about all the hard work I put into the piecing not to mention cost of fabric.

So that my quilting friends is what I have been up to. Will play catch up on the BOM's once all the baby items are finished. Have and Awesome Quilting Day.. OHHH and did I mention I joined a bowling league.

Do I dare try to make a quilted bowling bag.. well least wise they can comment on my unique bag and forget about my low bowling scores. Hahah... Again have a great one ladies and gents.
    Have an awesome day!

Roma, Arkansas Traveler was fairly easy, just line it up & check your points before you sew; I might have to swipe your lovely block, ok? You can send me that precious heart block, need it for my heart quilt (think it's #16 of 22 in various stages of completion)
