    wow! I am LOVING the black/white/red with an occasional touch of yellow- those are FABULOUS! here's my new one- and a pic of the 1st 4 together.

    my goodness- those pics turned out a bit on the dark side- on the new block the diamonds are a really nice purple- the center star is dark purple & deep green.

    dublb- what block is that second one you posted? I keep looking at my first 4 & none are that pattern (at least that I can see-I know they look different when we change them up with colors) but I sure love that one- just wondering which one it is...

    I'm not dublb.....lol.... I believe you are referring to Roma Bauder's second block & it is Loosy Goosy, the Aug block on the Quilting on the Square website. You can get it & the other blocks here:

    To all you other wonderful quilters who are participating in this block party: I am really bad at picking colors for projects. Just seeing how all these colors you have chosen, interact with each other and how they work out in the blocks is an education for me. Some I love, others are just not colors I would normally choose, but may now. Thanks for all the inspiration!
