I cut 80 green pieces, 2 1/2 x 10 1/2 from my overflowing box of greens and yellow for the 6th fabric. This will make 4 mystery blocks, which I will sew together with steps 4 & 5. This is a great design to know about. So many possibilities!
Thank you Judy. I knew you would have something great for us.

Merciful me. You all are making me feel so guilty because I have not sewn my block together. I am pulling myself out of the caboose (found the wine stash!!!) and will be sewing that block together today. Promise.

Yippie, skippy! I found the fabric! In my Boomerang box! I had about a half a yard extra that I was going to use for my boom 6 quilt top, but did not need it! So now I can finish my block, I am even thinking of making another with more black and white and turquoise. I can't wait for the next step.
I love the color combinations I have seen in here, giving me more ideas to add to my bucket list! I especially love Purple and Orange together... OK back to the machine.
Smiles, I forgot to tell you why we never made it to the quilt show in Glendale. We were snowed in! Crazy weather up here in the mountains! But I will be sure and look for it next year. I have a friend who lives in Lavern and she says it is the best Quilt show, even better than the Road to California!

Thank you Marybeth.....blushing....not as big as Road to California....we did not have any true Long Arm machines, just the sweet sixteen and the Bernina840 setup......but thank your friend for the compliment ! I had checked the weather and worried about when the snow would fall - saw that you could be snowed in or stuck and not able to get home. Anyway.......Long Beach International Show is in Summer and it is great. I think Judy said she might attend that one.
p.s. glad you found more of that great turquoise !!!!!!!
