Default 100 Day Challenge

I'm doing a thing called The 100 Day Challenge.
You challenge yourself to do something new for 100 days in a row.
It could be anything...doing as many sit ups as possible within a time period, say...or walking for 20 minutes a day, or learning to do a craft or play an instrument for 20 minutes a day or, in my case I'm learning to play pool by clearing the table once a day. (Of all things.)
In 35 days I've gone from it taking 15 minutes, yes 15 minutes , to clear the table to it taking 9 1/2 minutes, so I'm at least improving.
Anyhow, it's kind of fun and I thought I'd mention it in case anyone was looking for a small, daily challenge.

That is a great challenge...it certainly would open your eyes to trying new things. I think it’s a wonderful idea.

I think it is important for everyone, no matter the age, to challenge themselves to new things, consider new concepts (not all are worth implementing into life) and reach for a freshness that makes life a bit more interesting. I really like challenges and I like structure so that I make time count. Thank you for your challenge to us.

I like this concept and could certainly implement the sit-ups in preparation for my daughter's wedding in 129 days.

Oh, my goodness. I just looked that up to find the number!!! Yikes!!! One thing I'm learning new is a son-in-law/mother-in-law dance. He's from an African culture and I'm a very white middle aged mama. LOL. I told him I'd do a dance w/ him as long as it won't require a hip replacement afterward. (His mom has passed on, and he loves to call me Mom. He called her Mum.)

I just started yesterday learning to crochet cables stitches. I believe this may take me 100 days to master it if I work on it every day! Yesterday was S-L-O-WWWWW going! But I want to learn it so badly. Good luck with everyone's challenges!

If you want a calendar, just Google 100 Day Challenge Calendar and then go to images. There are lots there to choose. from.

This sounds wonderful. Does it have to be fitness-related? There are other stimulating things to stir things up and be challenged by. Bake something new. Walk a different route, in the supermarket, in the neighborhood or at work. Try a new food? Call someone on the phone you don't normally think of?
