I am working on my brother's Christmas present. It is the main one I wanted to have done ahead of time this year. And it requires no embroidery which I can't do while the machine is packed away for sewing room redo. I am making him the wolf song quilt. Can't wait till its all done.

My perspective on Christmas has changed dramatically over the past few years. Less is more. We do Pollyanna for my 6 nephews (involving my 2 boys) and my 2 boys each get 3 gifts and a few stocking stuffers from Santa. Each year, they are sooo excited about each of the 3 gifts (a quilt and 2 gifts that I have selected but not yet purchased). I don't go broke or stress about getting a ton of stuff. They are excited about the three things they get. My husband and I exchange 1 gift each. I also buy a gift for each of my parents.

I don't want to stress or rush to get quilts done for Christmas. This year, I pieced a quilt for my father that is getting done by a LAQ. I am going to make a quilt for each of my two boys and I am done.
