Default quillow out of fleece throws from walmart

found a really easy pattern for a quillow made with a prepurchased throw and you just add a pocket to form a quillow. the nice thing about the pattern was the pocket could keep your feet warm when unfolded. so i found some really cute throws at walmart but the fleece is really soft and stretchy. wondering if i cut one of them into squares to make the pocket - i am afraid it is too stretchy so i was wondering if i added an iron on stabilizer to just the pocket piece if it would keep it from stretching? any ideas and/or thoughts would be welcome. i was hoping to make them for xmas gifts.

I"m not sure stabilizer would stick to fleece. maybe just "quilt" the pocket piece a lot. straight lines would keep it from stretching. Good luck.

I wonder if you lined the pocket with cotton fabric if it would stabilize it better. I agree that iron on stabilizer might not stick to the fleece.

Maybe the pocket could be flannel instead of fleece.
