Default Aargh - song in my head

I couldn't get this Arlo Guthrie song out of my head yesterday, and now i know why: that thread on organizing where posters kept saying they took things from the design wall "block by block, row by row."

Soooo, since it's always nice to have a little company . . .

hugs,
Charlotte

I had a version of that song by Maria Muldaur on a kids' tape I had...it was back to back with "Baby Beluga," another song that tends to get stuck in your head!

DH has been singing "Can't touch this" by MC Hammer for some reason and now that's stuck in my head, too.

"What does the fox say?" Keeps going through my head, which is better than " oh, I wish I was an Oscar Meyer wiener"! Lol

Last summer I kept catching my husband whistling "Turkey in the Straw." Absolutley no reason, made no sense to us where it came from. He didn't have a clue, just kept doing it. As summer wound down one Saturday afternoon in September I caught the distant tinkling of the ice cream truck the next street over. Yup...Turkey in the Straw. It'd been in the background for weeks.

My children and I just adore this song when John Denver sang it. My sweet little four year old daughter sang it and now she is 40 and singing it to her children.

I even taught it to my preschooler's when I was the teacher and we were planting our raised bed garden. La, La, La, La It is now in my head too. Love it.
