Soldier Who Saluted While Seriously Injured Had QOV
The soldier who saluted while seriously injured after receiving a Purple Heart was wearing a QOV! I haven't made one yet but it is in my future!

It was easy for quilters to recognize as a Quilt of Valor when it was first aired. It just took someone to say something to the uninformed. Maybe with the public being made more aware of what quilters are doing, it might get more folks involved. Unfortunately, the need is great.

I make one Quilt of Valor every month. I only make the top and send it for quilting. It is the way that I try a new pattern.
Every year they have a new block that they ask quilters to make and send to them. This year my quilting group sent 326 blocks for them to make quilts out of.
If you can not make a quilt can each of you make a block? With as many quilters that use this site that would make a lot of quilts for our soldiers.
Here I go again. I am an Army Brat and I have 2 Sons and 2 Grandsons in the military. The troups need our support and this is one way that we as quilters can show our support.
