when I am old and grey and can't remember my own name, these ad jingles will still be in my head as they have been since I was tiny (I am now 55)

Prince Spaghetti (a local brand in the northeast)

Wednesday is Prince day, say what a treat!
Wednesday is Prince day, up and down the street
Gals making noodles, spaghetti and sauce
Putting elbows on the table
Even brand new brides are able
This very Wednesday, start serving Prince!
Brighten Wednesdays up with Prince!

Prestone anti-freeze - this one used to scare me as it was sung to menacing music

Never pick up a stranger
Don't put your car in danger
Pick up Prestone Anti-Freeze!

And one for a carpet cleaning place whose name escapes me but whose phone number is forever etched on the gray matter.

How many cookies did Andrew eat?
Andrew ate eight thousand
How do you keep your carpets neat?
Cal Andrew 8-8000

Can't wait to hear yours. Wish I could send the music too.

Not a jingle but my son always say Pudding just like Bill Cosby did in the commercial. I sing the Oscar Mayer weiner song and Oscar Mayer bologna song. Kids think I'm crazy. Gotta have fun.

For the silver-haired folks

I wonder where the yellow went
When I brush my teeth with Pepsodent

Or: En-cy-clo-pe-di-a, e-n-c-y-c-l-o-p-e-d-i-a

Oops. That last wasn't advertising. But that has always stuck in my head with years of Mickey Mouse Club at our house.

Stell dir 'mal vor, da ist ein Platz du weisst schon wo. Da schenkt man dir ein Laecheln und sagt, "Einfach gut, bei Mc Donalds ist es einfach gut!"

I know it doesn't rhyme in english, just want to translate.

Think about a place, you remember where, they give you a smile and say,
"Simply good, with Mc Donalds it's just simply good!

(European version) :P

Cracker Jacks: What do you want when you've got to have something and it's got to be sweet and it's got to be a lot and you've only got a dime?...

Good & Plenty: Once upon a time there was an engineer, Choo Choo Charlie was his name we hear, he had an engine and he sure had fun, he used Good & Plenty candy to make the train run...

Thanks for the memories! lol
