Saw it in Jung's seed catalog. It's a fruiting bush; the berries look like elongated blueberries, tiny, about as big as your pinkie fingernail.

I'm always tempted by exotic fruits... but it's always wise to ask advice first so...

Has anyone out there ever grown one of these?

Yes, We've been growing them for three years now. For more info, see http://ediblebluehoneysuckle.wordpress.com/

Jung says they grow in Zones 2-8. Eight is really pushing it for haskap because a warm snap in winter will cause them to start leafing. A return of winter will kill those leaves and stress the plant.

I am Canadian and have never heard of it, but I bet it will be a sure winner for jams and pies?

    Good luck,
    Janet
