I love everyone's stories! I'm almost 65 and still have my red/brown hair, which I have highlighted when I feel like it. I have two friends that I went to high school with that have both gone completely gray/white. Went to lunch and the waitress asked if either of them were my mom!! I think we laughed all afternoon about that!!

*** No, Sandygirl, my hair is not thick now.
***
*** The longer it gets (now down halfway my bsck) the thinner it gets on top.
***
*** Can see my scalp through the hair.
***
*** Will never dye it again, but do trim occasionally.

I had dyed my hair for 30 years and finally had enough of the grey stripe roots after a week or so. I let my hair go grey and I kept it short and I used whitening shampoo to help get rid of the left-over color (bought at Petco...the shampoo is cheaper there). So now I am completely natural and I even stopped shampooing my hair altogether. I use this stuff from a company called AsIAm and I use coconut co-wash...kinda a cleanser/conditioner all-in-one. I get a ton of compliments on my hair color and it's the best thing I've done in a long time. I couldn't be happier with this decision.
