Wow--those are pretty hefty prices! I do like the style. I make mine that style, but lined. I like them out of cotton, with ties long enough to go around and tie in the front.

I'm sure most of their clients are high end restuarants .........in LA and west coast.....that is the kind of apron I prefer....and have made myself! But probably the fab they use is a more durable weave than my cotton .......

My favorite apron is a Kitchen Aid, looks very similar and I paid $12-13 from TJ Maxx.

My goodness!!! Some price for an apron!! I make this same style apron for our hospital auxiliary sale; they are reversible--Christmas pattern on one side, Thanksgiving on the other-- and come with 2 potholders. We sell them for $5.00. Theirs must be lined with gold!

Biblio, how can you sell them for $5? The fabric costs more than that. You could sell them for more and the hospital auxiliary would make more money. The 2 potholders are worth the $5.

pretty aprons and pricy, but we as quilters can whip one up in an hour or less in our fabric choice.
good for her that she gets those prices. we only wish we could!

I bet she sells them wholesale or similar, for a bakery who wants something special, that sort of thing. or to the person who wants to give a great gift to culinary school graduate or something like that. people with money who want to give a great gift to someone will pay top dollar.
