i would agree bad... but blaming aspartame for some of those specific diseases is wrong, seriously...

Some of them have been proven to develop the causing factors in-utero... no aspartame involved :D

I agree- but I also agree that it's bad. Processed foods have made our country fat and unhealthy. It's a shame. I still think though that anything in moderation probably won't hurt. ( Quilting doesn't count in this statement :D And some people have better genes and immune systems than others. I am mad at the food industry though for how they've duped the public. Oh well............

Everything is either disease causing, fattening, artery clogging, immoral, or illegal. Moderation is the key.
Mom had Lupus and Fibromialgia and never touched anything sugar free. If food wasn't fried Dad pretty much passed on it. He liked fried potatoes, fried meat or bologna or hotdogs, bacon grease on his veggies, gravy on everything, and fried eggs every morning and he died when the car he was working on fell on him. He was 84. But, neither of them drank or smoked and most of their food was grown or raised by them.

She has brought up a few good points, but she is trying to sell a book, detox kit, as well as several other items. Maybe she is sensationalizing a bit?

Don't get me wrong, I think the more we eliminate chemicals from our diet the better :D:D:D

Anything artificial can't be good for us. Process foods, fast foods, so called low fat foods... If we eat lots of fresh veggies & fruits; minimize bread products & meat, we'd be thinner & way healthier... It's just to bad that I know all the right things to do but I still insist on poisoning myself on a daily basis...

When if first came out I thought it was great. My son used it. It started causing severe headaches. We dropped it and the headaches went away. I'll stick with natural foods.
