I know we talk about best sewing machines, etc., but I have a chance to purchase a Serenade at an excellent price at the local Babylock dealer here. Here is my question. I have reviewed this machine over at Pattern Review (most are pretty old) and they are not very good reviews. So, does anyone here own one and what are your thoughts? I currently have the Babylock Quest, but the Serenade has a few bells and whistles I would really like.

I owne the Babylock Melody and Audrey and I also own a Babylock embroidery machine. I never h ad problems with Babylock but I hope you receive great input on the Serenade.

Never heard of that one, but if you are purchasing from a dealer, make sure you get a warranty and that it has been serviced before you buy it. Also find out if they give classes on how to use it.
