    Me too. I spent one afternoon watching a monarch caterpillar wander from one milkweed to another -- wondering what he was looking for -- and in the end he was looking for a safe place to start his chrysalis.

    I love to see the big yellow and black garden spiders in the middle of their web. As kids we used to catch bugs to toss into the web just to see the spider run and then wrap the bug with big white webbing.

    My sons and I used to sprinkle crumbs to see how big a load an ant could carry . Surprising how much they can lift. Humans are wimps by comparison.
