Hobby Lobby has some adorable ones, I use a 40% off coupon when they're not on sale.Have made some beautiful earrings and some whimsy ones.Micheal's Craft shop has some by the big bags and on the cards too.

I buy a lot of specialty buttons from Jesse James (find them on Etsy). This company has so many different kinds and every package I have purchase has been nice quality (and very reasonably priced). I use them on lots of different projects including my wreaths and fairy houses as decorative items. I just finished a witches house and have little 'scary' ones hanging from the walls.
