While washing up my few dishes after supper,I thought
many years ago people washed dishes (and clothes) in the cold streams near their homes. No running water and no dish washers. They lived long lives then.

I was using scalding water and dish soap and rinsing in scalding water, too.

That's a riot!!!!!! "cold water" cleans our plates, too, but hot water gets its turn afterwards!!!!!!!!
