    that is SO awful, am very sorry, hope everything soon sorted And roof mended, rain/wet will get in everywhere.

    Sorry to hear this, unexpected change of plans are no fun,
    if you can gently put a hole in the area so the water can come out in one spot, with other items as protected as you can, tarp, trash bag under to catch the extra drips. May help reduce the extra damage, and help prevent it from spreading to other areas, giving the water a way out.

    Oh poor you, still think of the qulters in Australia who have probally lost everything. Chin up. A good excuse to go to the quilt shop.

    I have two shoulders and lots of tissues, so cry away! My first thought was your sewing machine. Glad it was safe. Sorry about the mess. :|

    Yes, yes, yes! I should remember all those poor Austrailians who are suffering under those horrendous conditions. My problem is small in comparison. Thanks for helping me to put it into perspective. :-) This too shall pass....

    It is still hard, tho, so don't put it down completely. Best of luck drying out your fabric pieces.
