Sorry you awakened to such an event! Leaks are the worst, especially when they happen in the middle of the night. Hope you get it fixed pronto!

So sorry that you are going through this. Our roof has been leaking this winter and our rooms are decorated with buckes. The weather did clean today and temps. in the 70's so hubby was up on the roof doing major repairs.
Frustrating yes but I think that we are blessed because we have a roof to leak. So many people don't have even a leaky roofed house to call their own.
It is ok to be discouraged, angery, sad or what ever it is that you are feeling, just don't let it keep you in bondage. Give it a short time then kick it off to the side. You are too important of a person to be wasteing yourself down in the pits. You have things to do, places to go and people to see. (and quilting to do)
    hugs

I am so sorry to hear about the water leak. What a horrible way to spend your day when you should have been able to quilt! Hope you were able to salvage things in the quilt room.

Sure was a good thing you were planning to be home anyway.
So sorry about the mess, what a royal pain. A lot of work to clean all that up and deal with. Hope you have a break in the weather to have repairs done.

If it's not too cold and wet outside you might get a temporary fix done. Hope everything turns out well for you.
