Planned all day yesterday, because today would be a snowy mess, and I have the day off. All my quilt squares for my LQS BOM sitting, ready to work on, and at 5:20 AM my daughter wakes me to tell me the ceiling has obviously been leaking most of the night - all my quilt squares are soaked, as is the carpet, and the table with all this quilt info-pages of instructions, cutting mat, and the water is still running into the room from the ceiling.....my entire day of sewing has turned into a full day of soaking up the water, and moving the buckets around when the leak moves... I just wanna cry. The leak is situated right in the way of my working at my sewing machine, so my whole day off is a total waste. Thanks for letting me vent.

If there's an upside to this, it sounds like your sewing machine is okay?!!! >>>>HUGS>>>>> So sorry to hear this. What a miserable time to have a leak (winter). Of course, there's no good time, is there?!

I'm so sorry to hear this. Can you get a roof repaired in the Winter?

Why is the ceiling leaking? Is it a leaky roof ... or a broken pipe? So sorry, I'd be crying too! What a pain!!

Thanks for making me think of something other than the mess. You're right - my machine is fine!!! I can always move it and sew elsewhere, but it's just a pain in the butt!!!!
