I cooked the chicken carcasses and was showing the DGKs how I pick the chicken off the bones. I explained that you boil the carcass, strain the bones, and don't throw the juice away. The 8 and 7yo's walked away remarking "WOW, I didn't know you could do that!" All they've ever known is soup in the red can :lol:

Be sure to add vinegar to the first cooking. It'll take a lot of the calcium out of the bones. You can tell the difference in the strength of the bones, from water only to vinegar enhanced broth.
The vinegar doesn't smell and increases the taste!!!
