Cosmo sparkle embroidery floss?
I just ran across sparkle floss on someone's blog...i would love to try it out on my Snowman A-z project. My LQS does not carry it-JAF, Hobby Lobby , etc are all 40 minutes away...before i start driving, does anyone know if this is available in the big bix stores? Seems silly to pay shipping on one skein of floss! Thanks!

I looked on JAF and michaels we sites-i don't see it at either store. I would like white or silver just to use as a cents... I am using a blending filament, and thought the sparkle floss would be easier to thread on the needle!

I have seen sparkly floss at Super Walmart. They call it Metallic or Light effects but not the brand Cosmo. DMC and J&P Coats brand.
another option you can consider are some of the specialty threads from superior like the Holographic ones. Some on line stores will give you a break on shipping for smalls like thread.
Brand names for some of these are Razzle Dazzle and Glitter from Superior
YLI makes one called candlelight

Thank you, Feline....I will look at the DMC's....I emailed a few online retailers, and the least expensive shipping offered for one skein of floss was $1.90......really? I am pretty sure it would fit in a regular ole envelope with a stamp!
(Yes, I realize someone has to pull the floss and address the envelope, etc, still, seems rather high to me)
