DGF to be is a very accomplished woodworker and has just made the first heiloom crub for the family. I agree with not staining it dark because you would loose the beautiful wood graining. KUDOS to you DGF to be. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

That is a work of art! What a wonderful memory it will be through generations of your family. I must say I like the natural, but I am a lover of dark wood also.
