for our forthcoming first grandchild. next he is making a changing table. my son wants it stained dark but I like it this color

That's a marvelous piece of work. And I agree, it should stay as it is, only waxed, but the Daddy's idea will most likely be what is done.
Light wood with white is classic, would look lovely in a baby's room with bright colors as accents.

they love Hawaii so want to use that type of theme I told him I would make the curtains pillows extras in the Hawaii fabric the find they like so I am waiting for them to pick out fabric

it is beautiful and I love this color as well...BUT how does one get the baby out of it? it appears the sides do not lower, nor can the bed tray be lifted higher....I am short with short arms, I could never get a tiny infant out of this bed!
