Here are a few pics I took last Saturday morning...before the camera batteries went dead LOL. It was betwen 7:00 - 7:30 a.m. & I was on my way to San Diego for breakfast with a friend in from Atlanta. This "Vista Point" was just south of San Onofre State Beach. (Or as we call it "Nuclear Paradise" :wink: )

I think that's a Red-winged Black Bird in the bush

Beautiful pics zyx! When I'm reminded of the beautiful Pacific as I am in these pics, I almost miss living in CA! :D Used to live in SD. Spent many a happy day at La Jolla beach. So very pretty there.

I hope I spelled La Jolla right. :oops: It's been a few years. LOL

Nice pics, Sue. My first husband liked to surf at San Onofre. He probably still does the annual Memorial Day trip.

You'll have to see the Gulf of Mexico in Pensacola some day. Amazing sugar white beaches and emerald green waters. And the water is WARM!

Thanks for a trip back to where I grew up!

Ah now I have visited the pacific if only in pictures. I am really enjoying the senic pictures everyone is posting...........they give me such a warm happy feeling like I'm on a vacation.
