I haven't made granny squares in years, but yes, I've done them. I still crochet afghans now...just use different patterns.

Yes, I've done some. Now I crochet granny ripples or V-stitch ripple afghans. Not so many ends to weave in! I always have an afghan going. It's great TV work for when you are tired of quilting.

Yes I have done them. Years ago I have made granny square throw pillows many times, and made a few throws. Use to crochet those doll tissue paper covers etc.

I have made many a granny square. But since I can't stand sewing them together, I do whole afghans now. Mostly I crochet hats, scarfs and toys.

I made granny squares years ago, actually several afghans using them. I still have one that fits a full size bed like a bedspread with covers to cover the pillows. I probably made it 40-45 years. I no longer crochet, I only make quilts.

I made one years ago, but it's not my favorite pattern. I still like to have a project going during the winter. It's too hot here the rest of the year to have anything in my lap.

Used to crochet but not in awhile. My favorite afghan pattern is: Gold and white medallion afghan. Its a round floral middle that turns into a square. I even made one in black and white. Dont have any pictures and no scanner to show the pattern.

I stopped crochet when quilting took over my life. I hated sewing the squares together. Another thing that bothered me was at Salvation Army store the crochet afghans were selling at $3 to $4. A crime to me when you think of all the time and love that went into each one, and they were just discarded.

I've made some too. I have many of my Mom's and love to think that her hands touched every inch of the yarn in them. So comforting. I'm pretty much reduced to crocheting scrubbies now with so much quilting, gardening, stained glass an reading to do. Love my life!
