I have a food processor bowl full of cabbage for cole slaw, but the blade is stuck and I can't remove it. It's happened periodically over the years and I've always managed to wiggle or jiggle it loose - not so tonight.
I can't believe I'm the only person who has had this problem. Any suggestions?????
Red beans and rice, meatloaf, and cornbread just isn't the same with the cole slaw.
Thanks

Perhaps heating just the metal to let it enlarge a bit.

Not sure how to get blade loose, but I sure could come for supper. Menu sounds yummy.

YEAH!!! Success everyone. I got it off. FYI, if you have this problem in the future. Run the processor steady for about 30 seconds(not pulse). I took the top off and the blade lifted right off. I had pulsed it several times, never thought to just run it.
Going to finish slaw and eat dinner.
Have a good evening everyone

Please unplug it before you try to mess with it. :) Thimbles don't work well if there aren't any fingers to put them on.

FYI, food processors won't work if the lid is off or even slightly ajar.
