I use Trend and find it really good...Norton was ok a few years ago, we used it at work, but these days all the gurus in our town recommend Trend.

The virus hit hard in Dec I guess and comes from downloads (sneaky ones apparently as Norton did not catch it). GOOD LUCK! http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/viru...-security-2010
I just spent 6 hours yesterday getting this off my computer. I'm not computer savvy at all and have Norton. I had to resort to spending $160 to have a Norton tech scrub it.

Trend Micro Internet Security Pro was rated #1 in the consumers guide. I haven't had any problems with it. It updates automatically. Will scan automatically. I've been using it about 3 years.

Good to know, because Norton 2010 is running amok in my computer, and changing settings does not stop it. I have less than 90 days until subscription renewal time, and I plan to blow it out of my computer at that point. No more Norton, but I haven't researched a replacement yet.
