Default DGD's New Skirt and Matching 18" Doll Skirt

Here are the new skirts I just finished for my DGD and her Abby doll. Made my own version by doubling the waist measurements for skirt width, then, 2 times skirt width for the ruffle. For the doll skirt I only times the ruffle by 1.5 of the doll skirt width.

They're cute as they can be. You are good at this.

Thank you Barny. Yesterday I bought red fabric with varied sized white polka dots. Guess what skirt is next?

Just got my granddaughter an 18" doll for Christmas and have started on a wardrobe for her and plan to do some matching outfits too. My daughter said pretty soon the dolls are going to need their own dresser...but she loves changing their clothes and playing dress up. Only little once.
