I do a little. I've made dish clothes from cotton yarn and those tops for cotton terry towels so they hang and button over towel racks on oven door handle. I have a potholder similar to the one shown in the link. I've had it for a long time; it was either crocheted by my mother (she crocheted a lot) or I might have bought it at used-a-bit store. I wondered how it was made. With that pattern, I can try one sometime. Doesn't look that hard. Mine has 13 instead of 7 "petals" but it wouldn't be hard to increase number given in the pattern.
