No, never. Being read to makes me wild, will only accept it when it's something I have to listen to that I absolutely must listen to and learn to pass tests.
I read at least 2 books per day, can't afford to buy that many so the library is my best friend.

Once in a while ... last one was a 17 disc "Hot, Flat and Crowded" about
global warming, how our future weather system will change, economy, etc.
If I read, my selections are non-fiction, true crime, quilting books, and
early English history.

I listen to them on my Ipod - downloaded from Audible.com.
Lots and lots of different stuff. Right now I'm listening to Ayn Rand's "the Fountainhead". Listened to a few other classics as well, Dickens, Dumas, Christie. I like Pat Conroy a lot, Steven King, M.E. Beaton, Alexendar McCall Smith, and a few others.
Some recent stuff I read that was outstanding: "The Help", "Room", and "Cutting for Stone".
I used to listen to cassettes, then CD's, then my husband got me the iPod for my birthday one year and I discovered Audible. I run the iPod through my car radio, and wear headphones when not in my car or at my PC. I'm hooked.
I still read "real" books in bed :)
