Doesn't do much good to report things to ebay - as long as they get their fees they don't really care.

Now if you were misusing the good name of Ralph Lauren, Tiffany, Louis Vuitton, or any others of their "VeRO" merchants, you can bet your auction would be yanked so fast your head would spin.

I think that the name 'Featherweight' draws a lot of people to their site.Might get more people to see what it is that they might be selling. It is misleading.[angers me when I see it],but know that it happens.

It really doesn't bother me-sometimes what is listed accidentally or otherwise is still interesting, and I'd have missed it if it hadn't been listed that way.

This is known on ebay as "keyword spamming" and is against the rules.
Like if you want traffic to your purse auction and you put in the title, Not Coach, not Louis Vuitton, not Dooney & bourke.

Everyone searching for one of those brands would pull up your auction for NONE of those brands. Gets the buyers ticked off. Gets ebay ticked off.

I agree alot of people just put "featherweight" to get your attention and don't really care if it is a true statement.

I have taken the time a couple of times to email the sellers, even on accessories, I noticed a seller was saying it would fit a FW and I told her i thought it was a high shank and gave her the measurements, she was actually pretty glad and changed her listing...sometimes folks do the right thing...
