Have you ever seen a dog respong to something on TV? I was just talking with my daughter and her Cavelier King Charles Spaniel started barking at the TV. It was on the Animal Planet and was showing grizzlies in Russia. The first time he noticed TV was when he was just a puppy and went balistic over an animated bird on avideo game. He was trying to pounce on it repeatedly!! This dog barks and has a little growl when he sees animals -- other dogs, bears, birds, it doesn't seem to matter -- on TV. Karen said he will bark awhile, then run downstairs to 'tell' the other dogs all about it, then run back upstairs to see if the animal is still there!! Anyone else had this experience with dogs and TVs? This is the same dog that tried to get into it with a coyote not too long ago.

Yes, I have a Boston Terrier and he hates the Brinks Home Security commercials. He goes crazy running from door to door when the alarm goes off. He barks at most dogs on TV, my grandchildren tell him it is on TV like they think he cares.

We have a Boston Terrier that will occasionally watch something on TV if there are dogs involved. But most of the time she just sleeps on the couch...LOL.

Cow stand in front of the TV with his paws on the table and watches closely.

Molly, my miniature poodle barks at the bark off commercials. She barks at anything with a dog barking, a doorbell ringing, and sometimes high pitch noises.

My Manchester Terrier will go into attack mode if an animal comes on the TV. Full throttle rush at the screen.

Moppet (my avatar)does not even notice the TV.

Topo my chi x gets anxious if he hears dogs crying when we watch the animal rescue shows on Animal Planet (he is a former shelter dog). Our budgie has amazing chat-fests to the Dyson when I vacuum. The others are too idle to respond - unless it's the fridge being opened.

Rudy, in my avatar, has his favorite corner on the couch. Every now and then, he'll wake up and just sit there watching tv. Animal Planet usually does it but he also likes other programs. go figure!
