Our dog likes to watch the Dog Whisperer. Funnier than the dog watching the show, however, is the parrot, who mimics Cesar correcting a dog.

We have 2 adopted English Springer spaniels, Molly and Hans. Molly never even notices the tv. Hans barks at every dog on tv. He even sniffs around behind the tv after the dog disappears, as if it went out the back of the tv! It's as if the tv is like a window to him and he thinks the dog is right there! Outside! And he attacks. It's so weird.

Yes my 2 Jack Russells watch TV all the time and when an other dog is on it and barking they will join in ,and sometimes they will go up to the TV and try to get into see the other dog.

When Bandit was alive he would leave the room if we were watching the Dog Whisperer. He would hear it bark once and just go. When it was over he came back.

Ah ha! Found the picture of Rudy watching tv, which is on the left, out of the picture.

I know this is a thread about dogs and tv but Rudy demanded equal time!

I had a Great Dane who was in LOVE with whales. If there was a nature show on with whales singing, he would appear, watch intently, cocking his head and trying to figure out why his dream girl only appearesd on tv.

I had a friend whose Rottweiler would drool when he saw food on TV. Hilarious!
