Just got our DSL hooked up last night and I was amazed at how fast it was. We've only been able to get dial up for years and I would rather spend my money on quilt stuff than satelite internet but now I can watch quilt vidoes and listen to pod casts .... I'm sooo excited I just had to share LOL

Living in the big city, I didnt even realize that anyone still used dial-up. High-speed internet is a treat isn't it? :)

I miss mine. Since moving to a rural area satellite internet is all I can get besides dial up. Some days it zipps along and others it is soooo slow.

I'm waiting to hear if our rural address can now get DSL. I sure hope so!!! We had dial up until 2 years ago. then I upgraded to a wireless modem from my cell phone company. Better, but still not consistent speeds.

I remember going from dial-up to DSL. It was wonderful!
