dying with wallnuts

a customer yesterday commented on my hands (probably just as bad as yours) and I told him I couldn't find anything to get them clean. He said to try vinegar and baking soda. Well, they ain't clean, but they're lighter (and softer!). Just get baking soda all over your hands (or a fist full like me :)) and submerge your hand in a glass of vinegar. MAKE SURE IT IS IN THE SINK!! You need to scrub them pretty good and repeat a few times, you can keep the same vinegar. Just thought I'd share. Oh, and toothpaste takes some of it off as well

If anyone has a Butternut tree, which is similar to walnut you get a great purple dye from the outer husk. These trees are hard to come by. Most have been cut down. Very sad.
