I've probably made hundreds of these over the years. I first made them (as a room mother) for all the kids in my children's grade school class Valentine's Day parties. Now I'm making them for my grandkids to pass out at their school parties.

I always keep extras to pass out "just because" or to people who look like they could use a pick-me-up... a waitress, CNA, cashier, bus driver, etc. So many have said that I've made their day. A small gesture with happy results.

Happy early Valentine's Day!

It starts as a heart....

Add a little heart; a quick stitch...

and pretty soon, they've multiplied!!

That's a problem with mice, once you have one, there is always a small liter lurking about. What a great idea!

I've made lots and lots of these, too, as a first grade teacher. They were especially good for my classroom as I had a "mouse" theme all year, complete with pet mice. They are soooo cute.
